At Artisan Wagyu we enjoy a exceptional reputation even though we are not located in the "Hyogo" prefecture (home of the famed Kobe beef) in Japan. This would not amount to much, and could not be sustained, if not backed by the extreme quality of our Full-blood Wagyu Cattle. The power of key foundation genetics and traditional Japanese breeding is part of Artisan Cattle's Wagyu heritage. They are an asset that is both priceless and irreplaceable.
Therefore, Artisan Cattle exercises stringent control over every minute detail of our breeding and care of Wagyu cattle. In each of the elements of their lives, it is the Wagyu that speaks. Each Wagyu must do right by the breed. In this area as well, there is absolutely no room for compromise.
As vintners have become aware of the characteristics of individual varieties of wine grapes, the same holds true with Wagyu characteristics that is unique to each. The thoughtful matings of these exceptional pairings result in extraordinary high performance Wagyu cattle.
Traditional Full-blood Japanese Tajima, Kedaka and Shimane Wagyu cattle bred in America that's the Artisan Wagyu Cattle way.
Artisan Wagyu develops Wagyu herds, bulls and heifers for private clients.
Here are a few of the Artisan Wagyu Cattle programs we offer...

Embryo Production Operation - some individuals will chose to produce breeding stock, producing consistent full-blood cattle via a combination of live cover and with the production of Embryos, which may be retained or sold as embryos and live breeding stock.
Bull Purchase or Lease - Perhaps you have cattle and your goal is to introduce a high level of marbling, flavor and tenderness then the introduction of Full-Blood Wagyu genetics into your herd will get you heading in the right direction.
